We operate as a no-kill shelter through 100% volunteer-based support. Through our shelter, volunteers and a network of foster-based homes and support organizations, animals will receive vetting (including spay/neutering prior to adoption), training, and socialization to prepare them for adoption by a loving, caring family. Our goal is to build community relations and educate the residents of Houston County on responsible animal care in hopes of reducing the number of community strays, unplanned litters, and euthanasia at our local animal shelters.
